The Atlas Copco BBD44 has a high drilling rate in relation to its weight. Its large piston diameter, combined with high impact energy and a ratchet wheel rotation mechanism, makes it especially suitable for drilling in soft rock. THe high rotation speed reduces the risk of getting stuck. This drill is designed for 6-bar air pressure but will also perform well at low pressures.
